Yesterday was Sunday, but I had to work. When I went to bed the night before, I was wondering whether I should vote before work or after, and was worried that I might even forget to vote.
So, yesterday after work, I rushed to the polling place and found it empty. Where's everybody? Has the polling place changed?
It took a while until I realized that the gubernatorial election was scheduled on April 8 and yesterday was April 1.
Yes, April 1. April Fool's Day.
Am I the first human being to fool my own self on April Fool's day?
I'd like to dedicate this song to myself. (sigh)
